HOMETOWN ENTREPRENEURS: Aplington Chiropractic Clinic

Dr. Andrew Ascherl is on a mission to provide quality and affordable chiropractic care to the communities of Aplington and Allison.

He provides patients with adjustments, physiotherapies, and education to help reach their optimal health and well-being, treating conditions from headaches and migraines, neck and back pain, joint pain and arthritis to auto and sports injuries and chronic ear infection.

Ascherl’s interest in chiropractic work was sparked when, as a junior high football player in his hometown of Sheldon, he suffered a back injury. He visited a chiropractor’s office, and after an adjustment, his pain was relieved so he could get back to the football field and focus on school work. After high school, Ascherl did his undergraduate work at UNI, and then graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport.

While Ascherl enjoyed the amenities of the Cedar Falls area, he also loved small towns—living in an environment where neighbors are friends and where everyone knows everyone else.

So when the chiropractor in Aplington decided to retire, Ascherl saw the perfect opportunity.
