A-P graduates reflect on supportive community

Aplington- Parkersburg High School Seniors became graduates Sunday, as the school celebrated its annual commencement ceremony.

A large crowd gathered at the high school gymnasium to see 67 seniors receive their diplomas.

Addressing the crowd, Principal Aaron Thomas said the ceremony went beyond labeling each student as a “graduate.” Students now have the power to transform their own lives and positively affect the lives of others.
