Supervisor Eddy announces re-election plans

Butler County Supervisor Rusty Eddy has announced he will seek re-election for a second term next year.

Eddy, of Parkersburg, said he chose to run again so he can continue his service to Butler County and represent his home community.

“I really love where I’m from. I’ve lived here my entire life,” he said. “My family is from here and we’re all born and raised in southern Butler County, the district I represent, so I’m invested for several different reasons.”

In about three years of service, Eddy said he’s most enjoyed listening to the comments and concerns of Butler County citizens. A social worker for 25 years, Eddy said his career has helped him grow as a listener.
