“The story behind the wine is as unique as the wine itself”, says Pastor Jeff Maskevich.

Maskevich is an Aplington resident and the director of God’s Mercy to Haiti, a teaching and mercy ministry to a small rural village in Haiti. Maskevich recently returned from Haiti where the village he shepherds just celebrated the start of their school year in a new school building.

Proceeds from each bottle of Wild Pineapple Wine purchased directly benefit God’s Mercy to Haiti.

Maskevich’s involvement with the rural village of Kilbite goes back to 2009. Then a pastor at West Friesland Church in Ackley, he received an invitation to travel Haiti. It only took one trip for Maskevich to see the heart of the people with whom he would soon form lasting bonds.
