Hughes will be offered shared superintendent position

The school boards at Aplington-Parkersburg and Grundy Center interviewed two candidates for the shared superintendent position last Wednesday, and as this issue goes to press, separate meetings at both districts have been scheduled for this Wednesday, April 24, with a job offer for Rob Hughes and a 28E sharing agreement on the agenda.

The two finalists, Hughes and Rob Busch, toured the school facilities in the districts last Wednesday before a joint session with both boards that lasted nearly five hours. Hughes is the assistant Superintendent of the Fort Dodge Community School District, and Busch is the superintendent at Edgewood-Colesburg.
