A-P middle school students visit Washington D.C.

Last Friday, a group of seventh and eighth grade students from Aplinton-Parkersburg Middle School ditched their textbooks and jetted off to Washington, D.C., to experience U.S. history firsthand.

The students spent four days visiting various historical landmarks, national monuments, museums and more.

Students didn’t visit the U.S. Capitol Building this year, but they did see the Smithsonian for African American History, the Holocaust Museum, the Archives Building and the National Cathedral.
