Aplington-Parkersburg softball battles in home stand

Aplington-Parkersburg softball welcomed three NICL schools to Parkersburg as part of a four-game home stand starting May 27 with Jesup.

The Falcons weren't able to get in the win column against tough teams from Jesup, ranked 11th in 2A, No. 13 Waterloo Columbus and Oelwein.

A-P (0-6) was scheduled to play at Hudson in a doubleheader on Monday, June 6; followed by a single game at Sumner-Fredericksburg on Tuesday, and road games at Waterloo Columbus and Belmond-Klemme on Thursday and Friday.
