Aplington-Parkersburg baseball snapped a five-game losing streak with a 19-6 romp at AGWSR on June 29.

Jack Eddy led the way with a 5-for-5 performance, including a double, four runs batted in and three runs scored. Eddy’s five hits ties a school record for the most in a single game. He’s been a solid bat in the heart of the A-P lineup, including slamming a home run against Nashua-Plainfield on June 20.

Tate Neymeyer added two hits, including a double, and three runs batted in. Devin Davis was 3-for-4 with two RBI and Nick Neuroth and Garrett Hempen each drove in two runs as well.

Earlier last week, A-P fell to West Marshall, 6-2; and was swept in a doubleheader against Denver by scores of 5-3 and 4-3. Neymeyer had three hits in the nightcap with the Cyclones and knocked in one run.

Kamdon Hoppenworth and Kale Riherd hit doubles in the game against West Marshall.
