United wins Postville tournament for second year in a row

POSTVILLE - AP/DNH United boys soccer went 3-0 in Saturday’s tournament at Postville to extend their current win streak to four. 
United opened with a 9-2 win over Clayton Ridge, led by a hat trick from junior Gavin Bernard, and two goals each from senior Walker Weedman and Ty Luhring. AP/DNH followed up with an 8-1 win over Cascade. Stats from this game were not available before publication. 
AP/DNH advanced to the tournament final against host Postville, who were undefeated going into this matchup. The Pirates took a 2-1 lead into halftime before United answered with two goals to edge out Postville 3-2 and repeat as tournament champs. Junior Jackson Mulder finished with two goals and Bernard also found the back of the net. Junior Adrian Huisman had eight saves in the win. 
AP/DNH United (4-1) traveled to Sumner-Fredericksburg to face Northeast Iowa United on Monday and will host Clear Lake on Friday.
