Shirley Schoeneman

   LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. — Shirley Ann Schoeneman, 81, died June 24, 2016 in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Of a sudden illness.

   Shirley was born the oldest daughter of Irvin and Ann (Hinders) Van Raden on Sept. 22, 1934 in Jefferson Township, Butler County. She started working at an early age. As a waitress in a small café in Aplington, she met the co-owner, Robert Schoeneman, and they were married Dec. 22, 1950 in Corpus Christie, Texas. To that union, Jackie and Tom were born. The couple divorced after 42 years of marriage.
