Michael “Mike” Lynn Hosch, age 69, of Parkersburg, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at his home. Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial at this time. Services will be held at a later date.

WATERLOO – Susan M. Manifold, 66, of Waterloo, formerly of Aplington, died Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. Private services were held for the immediate family with inurnment in Pleasant View Cemetery in Aplington.

Jim Dougherty, 82, died Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Shady Oaks Care Center in Lake City from complications of Multiple System Atrophy, a rare form of Parkinson’s Disease. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with Pastor Paul Ferderer officiating and burial in the Lake City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
