A-P takes razor-thin loss to Hudson

A single stroke determined last week’s meet between Aplington-Parkersburg and Hudson as the Falcons found themselves on the losing side to the defending 2A champion Pirates 158-159. 

Sophomore Mason Ridder was runner-up medalist, carding a 38. Senior Will Steege followed with a score of 39, junior Jace Pruisner a 41, sophomore Caleb Campbell a 41, senior Garrett Hempen a 41 and freshman Benny Walker a 47.

A-P (8-1) hosted a tournament on Monday and will travel to Dike-New Hartford on Thursday.
